Boiler feed water pumps

Duplicated pumps forcing treated water into the boiler against full steam pressure.

Condensate / drain pumps

Pumps returning condensed steam from the consumers back to the feed system, recovering both water and heat.

Cascade (hotwell) tank & observation

The tank collecting returning condensate, with a sight glass where oil contamination from a leaking heating coil is spotted.

Dump / atmospheric condenser

A condenser that absorbs surplus steam when demand falls, letting the boiler keep firing steadily instead of cycling.
